Kohup Sports was engaged by Far East Padel Pte Ltd, the owner of Ricochet Padel, to construct five new padel courts at Laguna National Golf Club. The project involved the complete construction of the courts from the ground up, including the installation of the padel glass systems.

The project required careful planning and execution to deliver multiple courts to a high standard, with particular emphasis on structural accuracy, installation quality, and safety throughout the construction process.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge:

The installation of five padel courts involved the handling and positioning of large glass panels, presenting significant safety considerations during transportation, lifting, positioning, and installation. Ensuring that all personnel involved in the works followed appropriate safety procedures and were equipped with the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) was essential.

Solution:

Kohup Sports implemented strict safety measures throughout the glass installation process. All personnel involved in handling and installing the glass were required to wear the appropriate PPE and follow established safe-handling procedures.

The installation activities were carefully coordinated and carried out with attention to controlled movement, positioning, and securing of the glass panels. This ensured that the installation could be completed safely while maintaining the required quality and alignment of the padel court systems.

Outcome:

The completed project delivered five new, high-quality padel courts at Laguna National Golf Club, each featuring a professionally installed glass enclosure system and artificial grass turf playing surface.

The new facility provides a modern, durable, and professionally finished padel environment for players, while meeting the required standards for court performance, safety, and visual presentation.
