Kohup Sports was engaged to carry out the replacement of the artificial grass turf for one soccer field at SportSG St Wilfred, renewing the playing surface to provide a durable and consistent environment for regular sporting activities.

The project involved the removal of the existing turf and installation of a new artificial grass turf system, with consideration given to the long-term maintenance requirements of the facility.

Scope of Works

• Site inspection and assessment of the existing soccer field

• Application and distribution of appropriate infill materials

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge:

A key consideration for the project was ensuring that the newly installed artificial grass turf could be properly maintained over its service life. The facility required suitable maintenance equipment to support regular grooming and upkeep of the playing surface.

Solution:

Kohup Sports provided suitable maintenance machinery alongside the new artificial grass turf system, enabling the facility team to carry out the necessary routine maintenance and preserve the playing surface’s performance and appearance.

The maintenance equipment was selected to support the specific requirements of the installed turf system and facilitate effective long-term field care.

Outcome:

The completed works successfully replaced the artificial grass turf for the soccer field, providing a renewed, durable, and consistent playing surface for sporting activities.
